Church Greetings Cards
Plain greetings cards bearing prints of paintings of the three local churches used by our Congregations are available from Ian Jameson or Peter Mills at a euro each, of which 50 cents is donated to church funds.

Treasure Hunt, Tuesday 29st May 2012
We are planning to hold another Treasure Hunt on Tuesday May 29th 2012. Our main aim is for this to be a social event rather than a fund raiser (although the latter is always a help!) and we hope to have a mix of Church and non-attenders as we did last autumn. However we will take entrants on a first come first served basis as numbers must be limited for safety on the roads. Maximum number per car is four people and departure time will be probably from 14.30h - 15.30h with a staggered start as previously. The event will conclude with a meal and we expect the overall cost to be €15.00 per head which will include the cost of the meal.

Anglican Liturgical Music
The French Choir, L’Ensemble Vocal Via Musica of Niort are to give two concerts in Deux Sèvres during the first week-end in June 2012, performing what are believed to be the first performances of Sir John Stainers’ Crucifixion. They would welcome an English speaking congregation to help with the hymns/chorales.
The first performance will be on Saturday 2nd.June between 8.30 and 10.00 pm in the Church on the square at Moutiers-sous-Argenton, 16 km north of Bressuire on the cross-roads of the D146 between Argenton and Airvault and the D159. Light refreshments will be served after the performance.
The second performance will be on Sunday 3rd. June between 5.0 and 6.30 pm with light refreshments afterwards in the Temple near the Mairie on the St. Sauvant road at Rouillé, 6 km west of Lusignan on the D611 main road from Niort to Poitiers.
